The inner critic and the inner child
I’ve come to learn that if I don’t anticipate it, my inner critic will show up and ask me to engage in self-sabotage. It’s my job to redirect the inner critic and have a game plan. I’ve also learned that I need to attend to my inner child and help her be seen and heard and to praise her genuinely for her creative efforts. She’s giving it her all.
